Consent for Use of Imagery

Imagery in the form of videos and photographs will be captured at camps. These are used for the following purposes

To aid the delivery of the services we are delivering to you e.g. education and coaching
To create educational materials for current and future camp participants
To promote the sport of fencing, the activities of the camps and British Fencing. Images may be shared on Social Media platforms and British Fencing publications

Whilst BF will take every practical steps to avoid capturing identifiable imagery where we do not have consent, any fencer or parent/carer who does not wish themselves or their child/adult at risk to be photographed/filmed at the camp must also advise the staff/coaches on arrival and avoid participating in group photography/film activities.

Personal Data in this Form

The personal data you have provided in this form will be used by BF for the following purposes:

To contact you or an alternative listed contact in relation to the camp delivery
To prepare and deliver the camp. To do this your data be shared with appointed staff, coaches or volunteers responsible for preparing and overseeing the ADP/DiSE Camps
To notify you about future camps and fencing events
To enable BF to ensure it has the appropriate consent for use of images

BF will store and retain the personal data you have provided in this form as follows:

Your data will be stored securely and retained in line with Section 8 of the BF Privacy Policy (https://www.britishfencing.com/policy-zone/gdpr-data-protection/).
If you have provided consent for use of your image your name will be retained securely by BF and will be deleted following any termination of the use of the related images.
